Inaugural class inducted into National Honor Society at GBHS
      Grace Brethren High School hosted its first induction ceremony for a new chapter of the National Honor Society. Thirteen students were accepted and inducted into the society in a ceremony in the Cafetorium. A reception for the students, their parents and the faculty was held in the library following the ceremony.

      The Simi Valley Family YMCA is combining its annual summer camp/swim lessons signup day and its Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the YMCA facility located at 3200 Cochran St. Healthy Kids Day activities are free with a summer program registration and $5 without sign-up.

Rainbow Girls seek vendors for boutique
      The Fidelity Rainbow Assembly No. 242, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, will host a Rainbow Boutique from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the Simi Valley Masonic Center, 1541 Patricia Ave., Simi Valley. The boutique will offer a variety of handmade items and distributors of quality products for sale.
