Community members came to get tested as possible matches for Hailey Joy Kent, an eight-month-old from Simi Valley with acute leukemia who needs a bone marrow transplant.

Hospital hosts fundraiser for Nancy Reagan Breast Center
Multifaceted event will be held at Moorpark Country Club
      Women are invited to attend the "Hats Off to Women" conference, luncheon and fashion show from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 13 at the Moorpark Country Club, 11800 Championship Drive, Moorpark. The event is a fundraiser produced by the Simi Valley Hospital Foundation to raise money for digital mammography technology for the Nancy Reagan Breast Center.

Free Clinic therapist passes state exam; clinic adds new therapist
      The Free Clinic of Simi Valley recently announced that volunteer Leonore Schuetz has passed the exam to become a licensed marriage and family therapist in California.The nonprofit clinic has also added another volunteer to its Family Counseling Program, Marjorie Fagan.
