The Simi Valley Family YMCA will host a free class on living trusts from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the Y, 2300 Cochran St.

The instructor will be Richard M. Seff, an attorney specializing in estate planning, who will show how a living trust can protect assets from probate and estate taxes so they are passed to beneficiaries. He will discuss the elements that must be included in a trust for optimal protection and provide handouts.
