Lew Roth dinner will present its first ever Lifetime Achievement Award

Six will be honored for excellence in education

The Simi Valley Education Foundation will host the 15th annual Lew Roth Award Dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26 at the community room, Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley to honor the Lew Roth Award recipients of 2006.

At this dinner individuals are recognized in six categories for extraordinary service to the students of the Simi Valley Unified School District, with a new category this year of Lifetime Achievement.

The recipients of this year's Lew Roth Award are: Management, Nancy Mason of Berylwood Elementary; Certificated, Aileen Archibald of Simi Valley High School; Classified, Marsteen Kotrbe of Santa Susana Elementary; Volunteer, Linda Perkins of Simi Elementary; Special Education, Teri Brotherton of Santa Susana High School; and Lifetime Achievement, Caryl Van Arsdall of Simi Elementary.

The evening is designed for the recipients to celebrate with parents, teachers, administrators and community members.
