Hospital offers free parenting program

Parents and their children are invited to attend the Twilight Infant/Parent Program at the Simi Valley Hospital Child Development Center, 1900 E. Los Angeles Ave., Ste. 300, Simi Valley.

This free eight-week parenting program is for one or both parents and their child between birth and two years of age.

Program participants will learn to develop parenting skills, bond with their child, develop positive discipline skills, build self-esteem within their child, understand that play is the work of children and celebrate their child’s development.

Classes will begin in early January on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Experienced childhood educators will teach and supervise ageappropriate behavior of infant/toddlers with dinner provided for the entire family.

Siblings are welcome if no other childcare is available.

Classes are now forming with limited enrollment available on a first come, first served basis.
