Royal Basketball hosts golf tourney

The sixth annual Royal Basketball Golf Tournament will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15 at the Lost Canyon Country Club, Simi Valley.

The shotgun start is noon, followed at 5 p.m. by dinner, silent auction, gifts and raffle prizes.

The $140 donation will include green fee, cart, range balls,

tee prizes, awards dinner, raffle and silent auction. Dinner only will cost $30.

Proceeds from the event will support Royal High School boys’ basketball and wrestling programs.

“With the community support our players can benefit with the following: new uniforms and

equipment, practice gear, travel gear, tournaments, etc.,” said Royal head coach Craig Griffin.
