     A Simi Valley man is the latest victim in a series of Ventura County attacks involving baseball bats. Robert Christian, 28, was assaulted by two people armed with baseball bats while he was walking near East Los Angeles Avenue and Christine Street in Simi Valley early Wednesday morning.
