Bring your pets to be blessed at St. Francis
Annual event a favorite of local animal lovers

St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church hosts the annual St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals at the 10:15 a.m. Holy Communion ser- vice Sunday, Oct. 1 at the church located at 280 Royal Avenue in Simi Valley.

The public is invited to attend at no charge.

The Rev. Steven Dean, vicar, will bless each pet during the ser- vice. All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier.

St. Francis Day commemorates the life of a saint who led a life of peace, love and concern for all God's creatures.
