Amused by reader's support for Mikels

I read with great amusement Jodi Bagwell's letter "Mikels deserves support." It looks like Judy Mikels never met a photo opportunity she didn't like.

"Working Friday nights at nonprofit organization events, or on Saturdays throwing out the first ball at youth baseball opening days . . . attending chamber mixers" are not what the citizens of Ventura County are paying Ms. Mikels for.

I think Ms. Bagwell's letter only drives home the fact that Judy Mikels is too busy with her own agenda, working hard for the money shot, to listen to her constituents and work for US.

Yes, it is sad that Mikels had to call a press conference to prove that she owns a home in Simi Valley. (Methinks the lady doth protest too much?) Where there is smoke, there is fire.

The citizens of Ventura County need a supervisor who will be a real problem solver, someone who listens and cares what the constituents want and need. That supervisor is Jim Dantona.

For the good of the county, for the good of District 4, send Judy Mikels to Arizona on June 6. Vote for Jim Dantona. Susan L. Wells Simi Valley
