Let's not forget America's history

America is a nation of all, not of one. What makes this country so great is that we are the greatest melting pot there ever was or will be.

To begin to say that illegal aliens have no rights is ludicrous.Though Joy Lomenick's letter didn't specifically target Mexicans I'm sure that is what she was getting at. Let's then take a look at history and focus on how this land was taken from Mexican landowners, through trickery or what we like to call adverse possession laws.

As to the rants and ravings that we will become a second rate nation, please.This country was founded by immigrant people and it is their perspectives and ideas that have made this country as great as it is.
