Other new sports and fitness programs for seniors include horseshoes from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Ave., Simi Valley. All supplies are provided and there is no cost to participate.

Low-impact aerobics classes are from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi. The cost is $3 per class or $18 per month.
