Playhouse presents Neil Simon comedy

The Kentwood Players are presenting the Los Angelesarea premiere of Neil Simon’s “heartwarming and honest” comedy, “45 Seconds from Broadway,” at the Westchester Playhouse, 8301 Hindry Ave., Los Angeles. Performances are through Feb. 18, with 8 p.m. shows on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sunday matinees.

Simon’s play invites the audience behind the scenes in the entertainment world, to the Edison Café, fondly nicknamed the “Polish Tea Room,” where Broadway theater personalities gather and schmooze.

“Great acting roles abound and home truths are revealed as Neil Simon continues to explore the more difficult aspects of life with sparkling wit and heart,” said Ben Lupejkis of Westchester Playhouse.

Tickets are $16; $2 discount for seniors and students. For reservations, please call (310) 645-5156.
