The Simi Valley Hospital Spiritual Care Services Department will conduct a special candlelight service to assist residents who are suffering from the loss of a loved one during the holiday season.

The service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21 in the hospital’s arbor area at 2975 N. Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley.

“The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one,” said hospi

tal chaplain Ron Hyrchuk. “Family members and friends will be able to honor their loved ones at a brief service at the hospital. As the candles pierce the darkness, so will the treasured memories warm our hearts.”

Anyone who has experienced a loss and would like to remember and honor that individual is welcome.
