Neighborhood councils looking for new board members

Vacancies exist on each of the city’s four neighborhood council executive boards.

Candidates will be appointed by the City Council to serve two-year terms from March 1, 2007, to Feb. 28, 2009.

Applicants must be residents of the city of Simi Valley and at least 18 years old.

The councils meet monthly to review issues of community concern and advise the planning commission and City Council.

The deadline to submit an application is Jan. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
