The High Street Theater Foundation is sponsoring auditions for "The Beatles Slept Here," a musical melodrama written by Craig Sodaro and directed by Alan Hunt.

Auditions will be Sunday, Nov. 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 20 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Demo Systems, 379 Science Drive, Moorpark.

Actors should prepare a Beatles tune that best demonstrates their talent. An accompanist will be provided.

Bring sheet music in the proper key; no tapes or CDs. Be prepared to read aloud from the script and learn a few simple dance steps.

The eight performances are scheduled for weekends, Jan. 27 through Feb. 11, 2007.

The show is nonunion and there is some pay.
