Santa Susana senior wins a laptop computer

Natalie Jacquez, a senior at Santa Susana High School, was the winner of a Toshiba laptop computer when her name was drawn at the Rotary Club of Simi Sunset's third annual Ethics Seminar held at Santa Susana High School on Oct. 11.

This year's topic was "Fraud and the Difference between Ethics, Morality and the Law," presented by Rotarian Chris Hamilton, CPA, CFE.

The seminar was open to all Simi Valley high school students, teachers, parents and business people. Students represented Santa Susana High, Simi High, Royal High and Apollo.

An additional $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the best 500 to 600 word essay submitted based upon the seminar topic and the Rotary 4-Way Test: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
