High school art teacher, karate instructor and TV "Survivor" Bruce Kanegai will appear Friday, Nov. 17 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Simi Valley Library.

He will speak about and demonstrate the art of perspective.

Kanegai studied at the Ecoles des Beaux Artes in Paris and took his degree and credentials at Cal State Northridge.

He's received numerous honors and awards throughout his 34-year teaching career. He is a member of the California Art Educators Association.

The Simi Valley Art Association is sponsoring this event and requests a $5 donation to attend.
