Actors' Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the Broadway musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," a rainbow ride through biblical Egypt on Oct. 28 through Dec. 3 at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Producers describe this show as an "irresistible musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son"

which "paints a picture of betrayal and hardship, prophecy and forgiveness."

Music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber ("Cats," "The Phantom of the Opera," "Evita") with lyrics by Tim Rice (Disney's "Aladdin").

Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors and students, and $14 for children 12 and under.
