AIDS Partnership seeks grant applicants

The Ventura County AIDS Partnership is now seeking grant applicants for its 2007 grant cycle.

A community partner of the National AIDS Fund, the mission of the partnership is to strengthen the county's response to the HIV/ AIDS epidemic by raising and allocating funds directed to fill the gap of unmet or under met needs related to HIV/AIDS programs in Ventura County.

The partnership, which expects to allocate $60,000 in 2007, seeks qualified grantees to provide specific HIV/AIDS prevention education programs and support services in Ventura County.

The deadline for applications is Nov. 10.
