Challenges Gallegly's voting record
I wonder whether the voters of the 24th District would continue to support Rep. Gallegly if they knew more about his Congressional voting record.
For example: He voted against hiring 100,000 new teachers and reducing class size, he was in favor of treating youths as violent adult offenders, voted against a $1.00 an hour minimum wage increase and proposed criminalizing free speech on the Internet. He voted against a proposal to require banks and telemarketers to get our permission to distribute our personal records, was in favor of reducing funding for afterschool programs to counteract the influence of gangs on our youth, and voted to cut the Federal Student Loan Program by billions.
Had enough? There's plenty more where that came from. John Blumenthal Westlake Village
