Gallegly supporter says the congressman 'represents us'
I've been reading the letters from Democrats trying to smear Congressman Elton Gallegly because of the actions of others.
That's like trying to smear all Democrats because Congressman William Jefferson was found with $10,000 wrapped in plastic and stuffed in his freezer-apparent bribe money.
The Democrats would like to make this a national election. But we don't elect our congressman to represent Louisiana or Montana. We elect them to represent us.
Elton Gallegly represents us well and always has.
He ran a successful business here, is a father of four and grandfather of seven, was mayor of Simi Valley, and continues to fight for Ventura County's interests in Congress.
Just recently, he guided $10 million to our local Navy base and military contractors to make America safer.
Make this election about us, not the politicians.
Elect Congressman Elton Gallegly on Nov. 7. E. Stout Simi Valley
