Cathy Beaman, franchise owner of Decor & You in Simi Valley, is celebrating the one-year milestone for the store.

The company provides deco- rating services for all of Ventura County and Western Los Ange- les County.

"It has been an exceptional year. Our clientele continues to grow, thanks to referrals from sat- isfied customers," said Beaman.

During its first year, the com- pany completed numerous resi- dential and commercial design projects, ranging from basic re- tail orders, such as silhouettes, custom draperies and upholstery and accessories, to complete room and office makeovers.

Beaman said her goal is to "make her clients truly love the space they are in."

After more than 20 years in a thriving career in the real es- tate industry, Beaman gave in to her passion for interior decorat- ing and owning her own busi- ness.

"It's the best decision I ever made and I have no regrets," she said.

Along with owning a Decor & You franchise, Beaman serves as a regional director for Decor & You corporate offices. In this position, she is responsible for recruiting franchisees in south- ern California.
