Alan Seifert of Simi Valley was named to the dean's list for the spring 2006 semester at Johns Hopkins University. To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Seifert is the son of David Seifert and attended Royal High School in Agoura Hills. He is majoring in biomedical engineering.
