The Gypsy Players, recently voted "Best Dinner Theater in Ventura County," will open the fall season of murder and mayhem with "Plan 10 From Outer Space-A SciFi Murder Mystery."

Join the worst director of all time, Ed Wood Jr. and the cast of "Plan 9 From Outer Space" as they reunite to film Wood's long-awaited sequel and guests can be a part of the cast. The person coming closest to guessing whodunnit at the end of the evening wins a prize.

The show will be presented at Paul's Italian Villa, 2585-I Cochran St. in Simi Valley at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 and Thursday, Oct. 26 and Nov. 16. Sunday Champagne Brunch shows with complimentary champagne are 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 and Nov. 5 and 19.

Tickets are $45 per person and include dinner, dessert, beverage, performance and wait staff gratuity. Group rates are available for 10 or more. Reservations are required.

The show is rated PG-13 and runs about two-and-a-half hours.
