  WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!-Kim Harrloe and son, Jacob, a first-grade student at Township Elementary School, enjoy a ride together down The Slide.  CARNIVAL CLASSIC-The Simi Valley Days Ferris wheel lights up the night sky on the first day of the event. Preliminary numbers indicate that around $100,000 was raised this year.  MAGICAL MOMENT-Sean Stewart, 5, enjoys himself at this year's 22nd annual Simi Valley Days. Early estimates put attendance at the weeklong event at nearly 25,000. More than 100 community volunteers and sponsors band together to make the gathering of fun, food and music happen.
