The Simi Valley Council On Aging will present its inaugural Health and Wellness Fair in the west parking lot of the Simi Valley Senior Center on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is free and open to all ages.

Organizations will sponsor information booths related to health, elderly care, insurance matters, and financing.

A variety of free health testing will be offered, including blood pressure tests, blood screening, hearing tests, foot scans, bone scans, physical therapy and more.

The Simi Valley Hospital will perform 200 first come, first served cardiac risk assessments.

Participants must fast for 24 hours in advance of these tests.

There will also be presentations in the conference rooms of the Senior Center, related to nursing home care and various medical conditions. Other activities include con

tinuous entertainment, door prize drawings, and tours of the new Simi Valley Senior Center.
