2006-09-08 / Community

The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley will be taking a group of 30 children to the UCLA vs. Stanford football game on Sept. 30.

The field trip is part of UCLA's Athletics for Youth program which helps to encourage children to think about their educational future by highlighting the opportunities provided by participating in sports.

The cost of the trip is $5 with transportation provided. Space is

limited and early sign up is encouraged. All children attending the game must also register as a club member.

The Boys & Girls Club has played an integral role in the Simi Valley community for more than 35 year, offering daily programs and services to local youth and families.

For more information about the club or to sign up for the trip, call Damon Harris at (805) 527-4437.
