Language and Philosophy of Peace is an independent

tudy group of about 55 people. Laila Al-Marayati, MD, will be the guest speaker at the group's next meeting

rom 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Tues., Sept. 5 at the Simi Valley Library community room, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.

Al-Marayati will discuss "Women, Islam and Peace." She is the past president of the Muslim Women's League and a clinical professor at the USC School of Medicine.
