The Simi Valley Berylwood Family Resource Center will give away fresh produce from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 24 at the center, 2300 Heywood St., Simi Valley. Patrons can receive two free bags per adult of fresh fruit and vegetables. No reservation is required.

Parents can enjoy a story and activity with their child at Story Time with Starbucks from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 24 and 31 at the center. Reservations are requested.
