On July 23 in the 2700 block of Tapo Canyon Road, police arrested a suspect for petty theft.

The loss was $1,150 when someone stole hockey gear sometime between 6:30 p.m. July 21 and 9 a.m. July 23 in the 600 block of Muirfield Avenue.

The total loss was $2,050 when someone broke into a vehicle and stole stereo equipment sometime between February and July 23 in the 1400 block of Agnew Street.

Sometime between 1:30 and 7:15 a.m. July 22 in the first block of Dobkin, the total loss was $920 when someone broke into a vehicle and stole 50 CDs.

The loss was $1,050 when 50 CDs, a cellular phone and two sets of headphones were stolen sometime between 7 p.m. July 21 and 6:45 a.m. July 22 in the 3300 block of Whispering Glen.

The loss was $2,050 when a digital camera, an iPod, a cellular phone and a CD player faceplate were stolen on the night of July 22 in the 1000 block of Roldar Avenue.

On the night of July 21 in the 600 block of Chippendale, the loss was $1,700 when a laptop computer, a cellular phone and a briefcase were stolen.

At 8:20 p.m. July 21 in the 2800 block of Fletcher Street, someone was arrested for domestic violence.

Someone stole $1,525 in motorcycle gear between 1 and 10 a.m. July 20 in the 3400 block of Delilah Street.

On the night of July 20 in the 2200 block of Birch Glen Avenue, the loss was $1,640 when cash, gift cards and other items were stolen.

Sometime between 9 p.m. July 19 and 2:30 p.m. July 20 in the 2500 block of Chandler Avenue, 100 CDs and a CD case that totaled $970 were stolen.

Police arrested a suspect for forgery at 10:20 a.m. July 19 in the 2800 block of Cochran Street.

At 10:20 a.m. July 19 in the 2400 block of Marie Street, a suspect was arrested for identity theft.

Someone was arrested for prostitution at 10:15 a.m. July 19 in the 3900 block of Alamo Street.

The loss was $810 when a wallet and some cash were stolen at 2:45 a.m. July 19 on Duncan at Heywood.

Between July 19 and July 25, the following items were reported in the community: nine incidents of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, five incidents of possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia, five incidents of public intoxication and four incidents of possession of a deadly weapon.

At 11:50 p.m. July 30 in the 2500 block of Sycamore Drive, someone stole property from a vehicle. The dollar loss wasn't reported.

The total loss was $1,000 when stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle on the night of July 29 in the 1100 block of Tivoli.

Police arrested a suspect for assault with a deadly weapon at 11 a.m. July 29 in the 2100 block of Marvel Avenue.

At 2:40 p.m. July 29 in the 2900 block of Cochran Street, police arrested a thief.

Vandals caused $2,250 in damages on the night of July 29 in the 1600 block of Erringer Road.

Police arrested a suspect for fraud at 10 a.m. July 29 on Tapo Canyon at Alamo Street.

At 10:15 a.m. July 29 in the 5600 block of Pittman Street, police arrested a suspect for domestic battery.

Someone was arrested for sexual battery at 11:45 a.m. July 29 in the 400 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

The loss was $14,400 when jewelry was stolen sometime between June 9 and July 28 in 3000 block of Divernon Avenue.

The loss was $4,300 when stereo equipment, a laptop computer and other items were stolen sometime between 8 p.m. July 27 and 5:30 a.m. July 28 in the 2800 block of Harrington Road.

Police arrested a suspect for embezzlement at 6:30 p.m. July 28 at Kohl's department store in the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon.

A vandal was arrested at 2:50 p.m. July 28 in the 2400 block of Sycamore.

Police arrested a suspect for domestic violence at 4:20 p.m. July 28 in the 3900 block of Alamo Street.

At 4:40 p.m. July 28 in the 1500 block of Simi Town Center Way, police arrested two suspects for burglary.

An armed robber took $270 in cash at 10:45 p.m. July 26 at Yosemite Liquor in the 5700 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue.
