Cathy Carpenter, MA, recently completed the Autism Certification Program through the Ventura County Special Education Local Plan Area and is recognized as an expert in working with autism in educational settings.

Carpenter is a behavior specialist/intensive behavioral intervention coordinator in the Simi Valley Unified School District.

The certification program requires intensive training pertaining to the learning characteristics of children with autism.
