Learned a lot from guest speaker at American Buddhist Cultural Center
I was fortunate enough to be at a presentation last night, July 25, at the American Buddhist Cultural Center that dealt with students and alcoholism. The speaker,
John Sundahl, spent 45 minutes talking about the ways to spot problems with our children and more important, how to help them.
I had four children in the Los Angeles school system. I lost my son last year in an accident when he was drunk and crashed his car into a tree at 80 mph. I didn't know he had a problem until I saw this presentation. I have struggled on how to help my three remaining children with any alcohol-related issues.
I learned a lot last night. I want to personally thank Mr. Sundahl for his time. Karl Larson Simi Valley
