2006-07-28 / Family

Kids Club at Town Center expected

about 80 children to turn out for

arts and crafts class but nearly twice as many take part. Some of

the artists are shown at work.

ARTSY-CRAFTSY-(clockwise from top left) Mindy Riu's project requires her complete attention. Justin Talhelm, 10, watches his brother Charlie, 2, ready the glue for their mother, Marisol. Aaron Williams, 3, enjoys his free balloon while his mom, Wendy, pleasantly encourages him to stay on task. Devin Hylton, 3, is one happy camper after finishing his fish mug. The Kids Club is offered every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. The free program gives young children and their families a chance to work together on crafts with materials provided by the mall. It is aimed at children age 5 and younger.
