Larry Hibbler, president of Simi Valley Ford, has been appointed to serve on the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

"I am happy to have an opportunity to serve this great city," said Hibbler. "It's my hope and desire that all businesses in Simi Valley are fairly represented."

member Margaret Peterson who recently moved to another city. He will be re-elected for a three-year term next year.

"Larry is a perfect fit for the chamber. He is such a great representative for the automobile industry, an area we wanted to bring back into the chamber," said Leigh Nixon, president and CEO of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce. "We're going to enjoy learning from him. He has great ideas."

Hibbler and his staff recently hosted a Chamber of Commerce mixer, part of a monthlong anniversary celebration to mark the dealership's five year birthday.
