Best Western Posada Royale gets makeover

Best Western International announces the opening of the newlyremodeled Best Western Posada Royale Hotel and Suites at 1775 Madera Road in Simi Valley.

This boutique hotel has 119 rooms, including 22 suites, and features a full-breakfast buffet with an omelet station and a weekday evening wine reception in the lobby.

Guests receive complementary wireless high-speed Internet access, free local telephone calls up to 30 minutes and coffee/tea service in all rooms. Each room is equipped with a microwave, mini-refrigerator and granite vanity and countertops. Complementary ewspapers are provided daily at the front desk.

Guests may enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, fitness center and laundry facility. The convenient business center provides printer, fax, and copy services at no charge. The ballroom and courtyard area can accommodate up to 220 people.

AINT-If you use masking tape for a job,   always remove it before   the paint is completely dry. Otherwise, you'll peel off the fresh paint as well. The best masking tape is   the blue painter's tape. I       use it all the time.               Kevin M. CLEAN

OOL-The most   important thing to think about to keep your pool in       tip-top swimming condition is to check your chlorine level daily. Algae can and will grow if your     chlorine level drops     dramatically, and you definitely DO NOT want that to happen. Algae are     slimy and difficult to clean.
