Air Force Cadet Travis T. Patterson recently graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He received a bachelor's of science in military history with a minor in Spanish and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.

Patterson is scheduled to attend undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base, Del Rio, Texas.

He is the son of Robert and Marta Patterson of Simi Valley and a 2002 graduate of Royal High School.
