NFL Hall of Famer and CBS 2 sports analyst Eric Dickerson will participate in the Simi Valley Hospital Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament on Mon., July 31 at the Wood Ranch Golf Club, 301 Wood Ranch Parkway, Simi Valley.

Dickerson-along with NFL greats Reggie Doss, Vince Ferragamo and Christian Okoye

and comedian Alex Thomas- will be present at the event for a day of golf, lunch, an awards dinner and auction.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the nonprofit Simi Valley Hospital Foundation, which acquires and recognizes charitable gifts that assist Simi Valley Hospital in fulfilling its mission, adhering to val

ues while providing exceptional and compassionate care to the community.

Considered a "workhorse runner," Dickerson gained more than 1,000 yards each of his first four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. In three of those seasons he gained more than 1,800 yards. Dickerson went on to the Indianapolis Colts after setting multiple club and league records with the Rams.

Dickerson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 to honor his 11-year career and 13,259 total yards rushing.
