The Santa Susana High School choirs, under the direction of Bevin Abbe, received all superior ratings in the 2006 Concerts in the ParkFestival on May 5 and 6 at Placentia Presbyterian Church in Anaheim.

At the awards ceremony on May 6 at Disneyland, the choirs received an overall high school choir award and first place each for high school women's choir AA, high school mixed choir I AA, high school jazz swing choir AA, and high school show choir AA ("Wicked").

The high school show choir AA ("Beatles") earned second place.

Individual awards were given to Sam Khosravi for overall high school accompanist and Eric Walter for overall high school vocalist.
