Leadership class benefits women's shelter in Simi
Every year a new Leadership Simi Valley class is formed to identify and develop effective community leaders. In addition to taking educational programs, each leadership class is required to select and complete a project that benefits the Simi Valley community.
This year's class project was the renovation of a women's shelter at Interface Children Family Services, a nonprofit countybased organization that provides abused/neglected families with resources for safety and sustainability.
The Leadership Class of 2006 includes Sally Becerra, Cathy Carlson, Rob Collins, Joe Deakin, Lika Garg, Greg Gonzales, Karen Hawk, Cindy Jacoby, Joan Knox, Chris Kuether, Corinna Larson, Nancy Lukunich, John McGinty, Tony Maddox, Shannon Rohrer, Carol Roullard, Tom Saulnier and Wes Schmidt.
