This is in regard to my letter you published in Friday's edition of the Acorn (May 5). It appears someone changed my heading "Work," to busing of immigrants to the fields. By doing this you changed the whole concept of the letter. We have enough illegal immigrants in the fields now. The idea is to bus the people on the welfare rolls, regardless of theinationality, to the fields, thereby reducing the need of illegalimmigrants and reducing theamount of recipients on welfare.

Would it be possible to rectify the heading to read, "Welfare to Work" or something of that nature. I am getting a lot of criticism from people saying I am implying that only immigrants are on welfare.

Also, please clarify that I did not ask forimmigrants to be bused. Onlythose on welfare without means of transportation would be bused. Les Lugo Simi Valley
