The Alzheimer's Association offers free counseling every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi in Simi Valley.

Appointments are open to anyone-spouse, child, friend or neighbor-with questions about memory impairment.

An Alzheimer's counselor will be available to discuss what dementia or memory loss is.
