Royal students get 'Footloose'

The Royal Drama Players will present the musical "Footloose" at 7 p.m. Thurs., Fri. and Sat., May 11, 12 and 13, in the multipurpose room of Royal High School at 1402 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.Refreshments will be available.

cago to a small town in the Midwest where rock music and dancing are illegal. With the senior prom coming up, only Ren has the courage to initiate a battle to abolish the ban and revitalize the repressed townspeople.

The fast-paced musical is filled with such songs as "Footloose," "Let's Hear It for the Boy" and "Holding Out for a Hero."

The play is directed by Joy Enright, with technical direction by Jerry Enright.

Tickets range from $12 to $15 for reserved VIP seating, $10 for general admission, $8 for students with ASB card, and $6 for seniors and children under 12.
