"A Family Day of Fun at Heritage Square" will be presented from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., May 6 at Heritage Square, 715 S. "A" St., in downtown Oxnard between Seventh and Eighth streets and "A" and "B" streets. Featured at the event will be period games, antique music boxes, crafts and exhibits for the whole family. The day will be filled with "the bustling activity of 1900s life," according to program coordinator Heather Behrens. Artisans will demon

strate their special crafts of the early 19th century. Complimentary birthday cake, tea and cookies will be available in the rose garden with "Mrs. Stella Manners," who will teach guests about the rules of Victorian etiquette.

A leisurely tour of Heritage Square and hands-on activities will round out the day's festivities. For more information, call Behrens at (805) 483-7960.
