America, you have got to stop being complacent and apathetic. You need to call, fax or e-mail your senators and congressmen. You can do this on their government web sites. You must take the time to act, or we will become a third world country that you will not recognize. We will no longer be a sovereign nation.

What do the government and gullible people out there not understand? Adding millions of people who have started a life here by breaking the law, have no rights.

They use our medical system for free. They use our schools for free and they use up our energy and resource supplies. They clog up our roads. They take jobs away from you. And now they want rights? Yeah! Once again, they have no rights. How dare they tell us what to do?

Marching in our streets is disgraceful. And it just shows you how out of control our open borders have gotten. It only takes one terrorist to slip through who can kill many.

You get rights when you do it the right way. You don't get squat when you lie and cheat to get into this country. This country can't support the world's poor. They need to fix their own country. Why aren't they at home demonstrating for these same things? Why?

If you do not let your voice be heard now, we will become another second rate nation. Either follow the law or get out. You can't choose which laws you want to obey and which ones you don't want to. Joy Lomenick Simi Valley
