Honoring those lost in the Holocaust
IN MEMORIAM-Bent Lerno and Sandy Lebman stand behind an eternal flame in the Garden of the Righteous Rescuers outside the Kamenir Chapel in the Mount Sinai Memorial Park. Lerno, a survivor of German occupied Denmark, was a fighter in the Danish resistance movement. Lebman was a member of the 42nd Cavalry Recon Troop, which was the first to discover the Dachau concentration camp.
