California Pools, one of the state's oldest full-service pool building and design companies, recently recognized Mark Gelfman of the California Pools' Simi Valley/San Fernando Valley office as Top Salesman of the Year for 2005.

Gelfman received his award at the company's annual awards banquet in March.

The award is given to a company salesman who reaches the highest number of pool sales throughout the year. Goeldman, who sold 86 pools in 2005 and 102 in 2004, has been with California Pools for 10 years.

"Mark has truly demonstrated the ability to convey California Pools' great reputation and service with his customers," said Myles Steimle, company marketing director. "We appreciate his dedication and hard work."
