The Simi Valley Friends of the Library will host its Spring Blowout Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., May 6 at the library's community room, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley.

Overstocked fiction, nonfiction, children's books and records will be available for purchase at 25 cents each or $1 per bag. The Friends of the Library

Bookstore inside the library will be open for regular business during the sale.

Donations of books, magazines, music and videos are always appreciated. All proceeds benefit the library and its programs. Volunteers are needed throughout the year.
