Gardeners are invited to the Busy Hands Garden Club Plant Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 pm Sat., May 6 at the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.

Garden Club members have prepared a variety of plants that enjoy living in this area, for sale at low prices. Club members will be on hand with plant information and to help buyers select plants for their homes and gardens. The sale will have a special children's section of inexpensive plants for Mothers Day.

All proceeds will go to fund the club's many community service projects including: Friends of the Library, the library rose garden, school gardens, gifts of flowers to hospital and convalescent patients, Simi Valley Care and Share, planting trees in local parks and purchase of pine trees for re-forestation projects.
