Alan Seifert of Simi Valley was named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Seifert is majoring in biomedical engineering. He is the son of David Seifert and attended Royal High School.

Breanne Dimock of Simi Valley was named to the dean's list for the 2006 winter term at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colo. The honor goes to students who earn a 3.4 or above grade point average.

Dimock is pursuing a bachelor's degree in sports entertainment event management from the school's Hospitality College.
