The Moorpark College Child Development Center presents its semi-annual fundraiser, Discovery Day, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., March 25 in the rooms, patios and grounds of the center at 7075 Campus Road, Moorpark.

The cost is $5 per child and $3 per adult. Food, soft drinks and baked goods will be available for purchase.

Discovery Day will offer many fun and educational activities for parents and their children ages 2 to 10. Children can "mine for gold" in the sandbox, "dig for fossils" in ice, experiment with "dough," "blast off" in a space ship, "buy groceries" in a store and more.

Toymaker Gene West will be on hand all day and the Sunshine Band will perform from noon to 1 p.m. For more information, please call (805) 378-1401.
